  • There is so much life around me. I have not used my camera in two months. I am not afraid of my camera. I am afraid of life. I am never more alive the shooting on the streets, never more vulnerable, never more actively participating in the “alive” world. Time to go shoot. Time to go live.

  • What is this a photograph of? Contrast of colors. Contrast of ideas. Why did the photographer take this picture? Is it a good photograph? What context can you gain from the image? What does your eye see first? Does it make you think anything? Where is the light source coming from? Is this a candid shot? What does that add? Where could you see this photograph? 
These are the questions I ask kids as we view a slideshow.
